How We Handle Corrections

When we receive a correction request, an editor will review the issue and, when appropriate, consult the reporter, original sources, public records or other relevant information.

If we determine that a significant factual error occurred, we will correct the article.

Substantive corrections should be clearly disclosed to readers. When appropriate, a correction or editor’s note will explain what information was changed.

Minor spelling, grammar, formatting or typographical changes that do not alter the meaning of a story may be corrected without a formal correction notice.

Updates

News stories may be updated as additional information becomes available.

Updates that substantially change or expand the original reporting may be identified in the article when necessary to help readers understand what has changed.

Reader Feedback

We welcome thoughtful feedback about our reporting, coverage priorities and community issues.

Reader feedback does not guarantee that an article will be changed or removed. Editorial decisions are made by the Anaconda Weekly Review based on accuracy, newsworthiness, fairness and the public interest.

Requests to Remove Published Information

The Anaconda Weekly Review generally does not remove accurate published journalism solely because circumstances have changed or because a person would prefer that an article no longer appear online.

Requests involving significant privacy, safety, legal or factual concerns will be reviewed individually.
