History Lives On By J. Ray Haffey For a long time, I have thought about writing a story on that mountain that greets you as you drive west on Commercial Avenue in Anaconda. The mountain is listed at 8,057 feet and is dwarfed by Mt. Haggin, which is listed at 10,607 feet. As you drive through town and continue west past the Lime Quarry, Garrity Mountain is ever present.
