New ADLC treasurer appointed, update given on Opportunity Triangle industrial park development

The Oct. 6 meeting of the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Commissioners was short and sweet but saw some important updates. First up, the preliminary plat for the Jones Creek Subdivision was approved following a report by ADLC planning director Carl Hamming about condition number four on the agreement, which is the requirement to tie into the West Valley sewer. At the Sept. 22 Commission meeting, Ken Jenkins of Montana Northwest Company asked the Commission for the reconsideration of condition 4, which would not allow the 20-acre lot to have on-site septic.
