Welcome back, AJSHS Community!
I would like to welcome everyone, returning and new students to the 2026-2027 school year! I hope everyone had a great summer and are ready to get back to school. I am Erik Swanson and I am excited to get back and re-connect with returning students and get to know new students to our school. Mr. Dakota Norris, my Vice-Principal/Activities Director, and I will work diligently to ensure every student at AJSHS receives the best education to ensure his/her success after graduating; whether it is furthering their education or entering the work force or military. We will go out of our way to get to know all students on an individual basis to ensure we meet the needs of all students.
The staff at AJSHS is dedicated to providing the best education and support to our students offering an optimal learning experience for all. We will work together to create a positive learning environment where every student feels safe, comfortable, and supported. Once again we will have a Clinical Therapist on site furthering our resources to support staff and students with Social/Emotional needs. We will have a “students first” approach and encourage all students to be involved in extra-curricular activities to broaden their educational experience at AJSHS.
Being a graduate of Anaconda High School, I am very familiar with the proud traditions at AJSHS and will carry on these traditions as feasible. I encourage you as Parents/Guardians/Community to get involved in the educational process and extra-curricular activities of our students. With all of us working together our students will continue to thrive.
We continue to utilize our On-Line Registration platform. This system is more efficient for our families and will provide us with more up to date information on your child(ren). Please watch for emails and notifications through Infinite Campus messenger for information regarding On-Line Registration. If you do not have a current Infinite Campus portal user name, please email Mrs. Amy Jovanovich at ajovanovich@anacondaschools.
Sincerely,
Erik Swanson, Principal
